Why Brifta
Your files, on your disk
Audio, transcript, and summary are written to a folder you choose, as ordinary .m4a, .txt, .md, and .pdf files. Open, copy, back up, or delete them like anything else.
No bot in the meeting
Brifta captures your microphone and your PC's own audio. Nothing joins the call, so there is no extra participant to explain or get approved.
AI only when you ask
Recording and importing work offline. Meeting content reaches an AI provider only after you start processing, and each step tells you what it sends.
How it works
Capture
Start a recording from the Brifta window or the tray icon, or import an audio or video file you already have.
Transcribe
Brifta sends the audio for transcription and writes structured transcript data plus a readable .txt beside the recording.
Summarize
You get an editable summary with decisions and action items, ready to export as Markdown or PDF.
Ready when you are
Brifta is in private preview while the Windows app and the hosted account are finished. The download page has the current release status.
