Privacy policy

What Brifta collects, what it does not, and what happens to meeting content you choose to process.

Last updated July 24, 2026

Scope

This policy covers the Brifta website, the Brifta Windows app, and the hosted Brifta account and processing service.

What we collect

Your email address and language preference, your plan and processing balance, billing and invoice records, and operational logs of requests made to the service.

Meeting content

Recordings, transcripts, and summaries are stored on your computer. They reach our service only when you start AI processing, and only for as long as the job needs. We do not use your meeting content to train models.

Third parties

AI processing runs on third-party inference providers, and account email is delivered by an email provider. Each receives only what the requested operation needs.

How long we keep it

Uploaded audio and generated result text are deleted once the job is complete and delivered. Account, entitlement, and billing records are kept while your account exists, and afterwards only as long as accounting requires.

Cookies and analytics

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or third-party scripts. Your account pages set cookies only for your signed-in session and for form protection.

Your choices

You can see and change your language, plan, and processing cap from your account, and you can ask us to delete your account and its records. Meeting files on your computer are deleted by you.

Children

Brifta is not intended for children and is not directed at anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes we update the date above. Material changes are also announced to account holders by email.
