What Brifta does

One app that captures the meeting, writes it down, and hands you a document you can send.

Local recording

Brifta mixes your microphone and your PC's own audio into one mono .m4a tuned for speech. A two-hour meeting is about 29 MB.

Import what you already have

Bring in an existing audio or video file. Brifta takes its primary audio track and normalizes it to the same format it records.

Transcripts

Every meeting gets structured transcript data plus a rendered .txt you can read, search, or paste anywhere.

Summaries you can send

Brifta turns the transcript into an editable summary and exports it as Markdown or PDF. Rewrite a section with a prompt, or regenerate the whole document.

Translation

Translate a finished summary into another language without processing the audio again.

Scheduled recordings

Subscribe to a calendar and let Brifta prompt you before a scheduled meeting. Capture never starts without your confirmation.

Stays out of the way

Brifta lives in the Windows tray, shows a distinct icon while recording, and can start with Windows without recording anything on its own.

English and Spanish

The app, your account pages, and account email all follow one language setting. The language of a transcript or summary is chosen per meeting.

Built for real meetings

Level meters before you start, disk-space checks, fallback when a device disappears, silence detection, and timestamp-aware mixing that keeps both sides in sync.

Accessible by default

Keyboard navigation for primary actions, visible focus, screen-reader labels for recording status, and status that never depends on color alone.

Requirements

A 64-bit PC running Windows 10 or Windows 11, a working microphone, and an internet connection for AI processing. A macOS version is planned after the Windows release.
